Which Super Hero is Right for You?

If I were going to have a super hero girlfriend, it had better be someone I will have no problems remaining faithful to, or staying with for...until she tires of me. I think we all learned a valuable lesson from the movie "My Super Ex-Girlfriend". No one wants a great white shark hurled at them while they're getting busy with their new sweetie!
But honestly, who would kick Uma Thurman out of bed?...certainly not me, but if it did have to be done...no, I wouldn't do it, and there is certainly no sense in me wasting anymore time wondering how to let poor Uma down gently! AS IF!

I took the quiz, and was paired with Psylocke, a mutant from the X-Men series with telepathic and telekinetic powers, whose occupation is listed as, "Adventurer, Ninja, Heiress, Multi-Millionaire, Assassin, fashion model."

So in this pairing, I have to be extra-careful because she can not only read my mind, but she can throw shit at me with hers! And if that doesn't get the job done she's a ninja, and if she doesn't want to break a sweat, by throwing a star at me, she could just as easily hire the job out with her ass-loads of money, or possibly just stop my heart with a look! Yes honey, dinner will be on the table when you get home. Ahhhh, love.

Does it have to be a super-hero-girlfriend? Can it be a hunk? I think women are more vindictive than men. Men just go crazy and start shooting. Women, they will torture you. I want to be an angel and make angel-love. It's quite very good. It creates stardust and you do it in the air with Unggaro designer clothes in the fall, then you go on a mission and pretend to be an economist. You probably think I am crazy but I tell you it is better to be an angel than a superhero-girlfriend or boyfriend. Angels can make themselves invisible.

ces, That does sound better, do you have a link? *wink*

There's a blogger I follow who once assigned superheroes to each of his readers. I was Psylocke.

kj, yes, you and ces can run along!

citizen, that's...interesting. Hmmmm, that's so...do you ever feel like we have strangely deep similarites? Kindred spirits?

What's with this Shane McCutcheon character? Why is she such an overdone androgynous? I thought she reminded me of my young self but I saw a clip of her walking, man she is a man, just with a pretty face. I wish I could see an episode of this show but based on the photos I saw I had my mouth agape. I then had to run my spyware application - over 200 tracking cookies were attached to these sites. Bad bad bad.

ces, The word androgynous, signifies someone who appears to blur the lines of gender. Not masculine, not feminine, in the middle, I put myself in this category. If you think someone is very "man-like" she would be "butch".
So your question is why is she so overdone butch? I don't think she's overdone anything. She's being herself. What you see on the outside is who she is on the inside. Lesbians who are "out" have braved a lot, to not have to pretend to be someone they're not. They don't dress, or act, or walk to please the masses anymore than they'd sleep with, date or marry someone to please others. I don't think that's BAD!

Hmmm...I'd stick with Uma. You know, breaking up with Uma in that movie...that's where they lost me in the whole "suspension of dis-belief" thing. Nobody would do that...well, except Ethan that is..

ve, I see you found my super-secret-public other blog! Welcome, I agree!

I was paired with Lois Lane, but I'm not sure it's valid because -- I'm not gay.

But hey, nobody's perfect!

RED MOJO said...

heartinsanfrancisco, i didn't know Lois Lane was a super hero! Anyway, if you want to take it again, there is a drop-down at the beginning to pick a male super hero, try that!

No Red Mojo. The BAD I was referring to were the tracking cookies that came after I read sites about the show and about Katherine Moennig. I don;t think these sites were offensive and categorized as extreme sites but man my spyware logged over 200 privacy (tracking) cookies! I was not referring to her being Shane, I think she is quite adorable.

ces, oh okay! Well, I'm sorry about the hunter-cookies...I hate those too. I block them all! Thanks for explaining that.

She's pretty cute and I saw my young self in some of her photos, especially her clothes. I was called sir by mistake so many times in my twenties but they were embarrassed when I turned around and flashed my red lipsticked face. I liked it when that happened.

I liked this site--my super hero girlfriend is Wonder Woman! And I don't really care if I get Lynda Carter or the real Wonder Woman, I'll take either one.

RED MOJO said...

ces, I agree, she is very cute!

beeper, I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

rm, your explanation to ces about being oneself was beautifully said. how true. sometimes i look back on my life and, unlike my early years, i am so happy i am able, free, and open to be my very own self. when i see people of any age struggling about being gay or lesbian, i wish freedom for them most of all.

:)

RED MOJO said...

kj, Thanks. I think the freedom to be yourself is more expensive to some, than others, but always worth the price! Unless you live in Iraq, and they'll shoot you!

I already have a super hero girlfriend, married her 38 years ago!I tried to answer your E-mail and could not get it to go to you. I was hoping you were not too busy and wanted to spend your summer vacation out here in New York building my hill farm home.

18 working days left, then I head for the hills and wait at the mailbox on the first of the month for the check to come in.

RED MOJO said...

Slip, That's so sweet! We are alike, hard on the outside, but with a soft gooey center, I just keep that hidden-most of the time.
18 work days until retirement?! How exciting, you must be happy.
Summer vacation, haaahaahahaaa etc.

I never thought of Lois as a superhero either. I was quite disappointed. I would have preferred Mary Marvel, actually, on whom I had a crush as a child. (She was then the ONLY female character with supernatural powers.)

I just noticed that you've given me honorary Lesbian status on your sidebar. Thank you. I am truly honored.

Spider Man or The Beast.

Whatever. I think I'll stick with the one I have even though he can't fly because he has the power to understand me, and that's rare.

heartinsanfrancisco, The power to understand your mate, is truly under-rated. I'm glad you're pleased to be honorary :)
